On August 26, 2025, during the grand opening celebration of CNPD, HBD and CNPD successfully signed a strategic cooperation agreement.

Together, We will develop South China’s first comprehensive metal additive manufacturing full-process center, dedicated to providing end-to-end high-precision manufacturing solutions from concept design to mass production. This collaboration will span diverse high-end manufacturing sectors, including smart wearables, consumer electronics, automotive, and semiconductor components.

The signing ceremony featured CNPD Metal Business Unit CEO, Mr Tommy Mak, and HBD Chairman, Mr Jianye Liu, formalizing a partnership that combines CNPD’s expertise in complex metal component processing with HBD’s advanced metal additive manufacturing technology.

This partnership leverages CNPD’s deep capabilities in metal precision manufacturing and surface treatment with HBD’s innovative LPBF (Laser Powder Bed Fusion) technology, a global leader in metal 3D printing. HBD’s comprehensive control over core industry chain elements—including equipment, materials, software, and advanced application development—enables we together to deliver more efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality solutions.

The collaboration aims to boost rapid prototyping, high-efficiency production, and zero-defect delivery, particularly in high-end consumer electronics and other demanding industries.

We will create South China’s first fully integrated metal additive manufacturing full-process center, sharing key resources across the industry chain—from materials research, collaborative design, precise printing, to post-processing and inspection.

This project will advance manufacturing towards digitalization and green practices, expanding into international high-end markets and supporting global premium brands with comprehensive, one-stop solutions from concept to mass production, strengthening China’s competitive edge in the global precision manufacturing industry.
